Directions
The Goshen Public Library is located at 42 North Street, also called Route 63 in Goshen. We are part of the Town Hall and Goshen Center School Complex. The library parking lot and main entrance are located off of the Goshen Center School's circular driveway. On weekdays, patrons can also enter through the library's back entrance inside the Goshen Town Hall. Handicapped parking and a handicapped-accessible entrance are available.
From Route 8 North:
Take Exit 44, Downtown Torrington. Proceed straight off of the exit. At the first light (behind Burger King), turn left onto Route 4 West. Follow Route 4 for approximately 6 1/2 miles until you reach the rotary in the center of Goshen. Turn right at the rotary onto Route 63 North (North Street). The library is located approximately .2 miles on the right.
From Route 8 South:
Take Exit 44, Downtown Torrington. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp and follow Route 4 West for approximately 6 1/2 miles until you reach the rotary in the center of Goshen. Turn right at the rotary onto Route 63 North (North Street). The library is located approximately .2 miles on the right.

Monday - Friday 10am to 6pm
Saturday 10am to 2pm

Inclement Weather
When the Library is open, we answer our phones. If there is inclement weather and you are calling during normal business hours and we do not answer our phone, then we are closed due to the weather conditions. We always notify WZBG 97.3 FM if there are any changes in our hours due to inclement weather. We also post alerts on our home page with any cancellation information or changes in our hours.
Remember that when school is closed due to inclement weather our children's programs are canceled as well.
